Are you a JavaScript Developer interested in developing the front end of an innovative low-code platform, where you can have a great deal of input into future versions of the product?

Joining a large development team, you will report to the Lead JavaScript Developer as we continue to expand our usage of Vue.Js to re-architect our low code development platform which allows non-technical users to build & maintain complex web applications.

As our second dedicated JavaScript Developer you will work with the Lead JS Developer to provide expertise and guide the development direction across our range of products whilst writing clean & performant code.

A great working knowledge of Vue.JS is essential, you’ll work collaboratively with designers, testers & backend developers to build & maintain the front end of our suite of products ensuring they are functional & user friendly.

About You

You’ll have significant experience in delivering large scale and complex development projects & be interested in learning about new frameworks, libraries and techniques and how they could be utilised.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in:

- Vue.js (v2 or v3)

- JavaScript (Inc. ES6+)

- Typescript

- NPM / Yarn

- Vite

- SASS / SCSS

Experience of some of the tools / libraries used by the wider team would be useful, such as PHP (7+), MySQL, Git, Linux command line & Bulma.

You’ll ideally have some understanding of scalable cloud-based architectures.

Due to the nature of the role, you are expected to gain and maintain Non-Police Personnel Vetting Level 3 (NPPV3) clearance and therefore it is essential that you have held continuous residency in the UK for the past 3 years.
